The GEBHARDT Academy has been in existence since 2011. The Academy strengthens the community of students and trainees and underlines the importance of promoting young talent within the company. With our 75 members, 25 new entrants and multiple trainees every year, we are now one of the largest medium-sized training companies in the Sinsheim area, which is something that we are extremely proud of. What distinguishes us: We train you to take over!
GEBHARDT lives the guiding principle of »Next Generation Intralogistics« across all areas of the business, from development to after-sales service. Our corporate mission statement manifests particularly pointedly in our promotion of young talent and training. For us, training our own specialists and managers is a central component of our identity and plays an important role in the success of the business. Bolstered by the link between the potential and imagination of young colleagues and the skills and experience of long-standing employees, we can look towards the future together.
At the GEBHARDT Academy, our trainees and students go through a number of different departments as part of their training and studies. This way, they receive an integrated insight into our processes and internal workflows, familiarise themselves with everyday business and learn to tackle problems independently, developing solution proposals within smaller projects.
This way, our trainees and students get to learn a great deal about themselves and understand, at the end, what they most enjoy, where their strengths lie and the tasks that they most imagine being a part of their future.
At the end, we want to prepare them in the best way we can for their future, and give them the knowledge that they will need for later on in their professional lives.
Our aim is for trainees and students to undergo self-realisation during their time with us, and to find the area in which they are likely to flourish. We hope that by achieving their goals together with us, that in the future, they and their skills will be able to support us and drive GEBHARDT forwards.
GEBHARDT works to ensure that all junior employees get the right start to their careers so that they feel comfortable and enjoy working and learning. Which is why we hold an introductory seminar every September for all new trainees and students. Study programmes are usually preceded by a four to eight-week preliminary internship, which focuses on familiarising them with the business, products and colleagues.
