GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group acquires the sorting and conveyor technology expertise of Lippert GmbH & Co. KG

As of September 2024, GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group has acquired Lippert GmbH & Co. KG's expert know-how in sorting and conveyor technology. Lippert customers will continue to benefit from comprehensive service and support while new development opportunities for existing systems will emerge. The acquisition enhances GEBHARDT's expertise in sorting technology and creates new opportunities for collaborative solutions. 

Beginning in September 2024, the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group will acquire Lippert GmbH & Co. KG's comprehensive sorting and conveyor technology expertise. This step will allow the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group to significantly expand and extend its portfolio in sorting technology and the associated high-performance conveyor technology. The takeover opens new opportunities for the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group and strengthens its position in the market. With this strategic acquisition, GEBHARDT aims to ensure a seamless transition for existing Lippert customers.   

The focus is on delivering outstanding service, high-quality spare parts, and exceptional support while continuing the existing conveyor and sorting technology product lines. ‘Following the insolvency of Lippert, our aim is to rebuild the quality and service that Lippert's customers have received as quickly as possible by purchasing their know-how,’ emphasises Marco Gebhardt, CEO of the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group.  The Lippert name will be retained and complemented by GEBHARDT's innovative sorting technology solutions. GEBHARDT is focussing on integrating Lippert products and developing a robust infrastructure to provide first-class support to existing Lippert customers and maintain a strong presence in the area of new systems.
