GEBHARDT receives the seal of approval "Innovative through Research”

Sinsheim, 16th of October 2020 – The Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (translation: Donors' Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany) has awarded the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group with the seal of approval "Innovative through Research". This seal of approval honours researching companies, which take over special responsibility and achievements towards the state and society. The award took place within the framework of the survey 2020 on research and development (R&D) in Germany, which the Stifterverband carries out annually on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

The survey is the decisive benchmark and important basis of the future development of funding measures for research and innovation in Germany. For GEBHARDT, the division New Business and the further development of innovative products is essential and has been strongly expanded in recent years. "The investment in the expansion of our innovative research area and the corresponding software & IT are fundamental to optimally position ourselves and our customers for the future. The seal of approval is the result of many years of research work and honours us very much", says Marco Gebhardt, Managing Director of the GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group.

The seal of approval is now valid for two years. The collected data now serve the Federal Government as an important basis for the further development of its economic, innovation and technology policy.
