Remained loyal to the company for 50 years

Every year, GEBHARDT honors its employee from 5 years’ period of employment and expresses through this a special thanks to the persons celebrating their jubilee. Peter Behr and Manfred Vogel were guests at this year’s Christmas party, who received the biggest applause. Peter Behr has been a faithful employee for 40 years at the company GEBHARDT and therefore got a special distinction. In contrast, Manfred Vogel can already speak about 50 years’ period of employment.

His company years has already begun with the training at Gebhardt Fördertechnik (at that time Gebhardt Maschinenbau) in Berwangen. Besides certificates and presents, the current pensioner got a very special surprise – his lathe machine, on which the trained precision mechanic worked all the years. An over 45 years old promise of Richard Gebhardt has been fulfilled through this and was received with overwhelming joy. Additionally, both obtained an honorary certificate from the IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and the state Baden-Württemberg. Moreover, Vogel and Behr has been congratulated by the old mayor Rolf Geinert, on behalf of mayor Jörg Albrecht and the city Sinsheim for their long period of employment.

This year’s Christmas party was one of the biggest with approx. 260 employees. That indicates the enormous growth push in recent years. Besides numerous reemployment and acquisition of the company Sandt Logistitk GmbH in Pirmasens in 2007, the company is increasingly active in the sector trainees. Meanwhile, GEBHARDT is training approx. 30 trainees and students. “We are sure, that we can achieve our aims with this workforce next year and perhaps outperform the aims. We already look forward to the Christmas party 2013 to thank our employees for the great cooperation”, said Fritz Gebhardt, managing partner of GEBHARDT Group.
