Successful performance of the GEBHARDT Group at IMHX 2013 in Birmingham

Sinsheim/Birmingham 03. April 2013 - The IMHX event in Birmingham is the biggest exhibition for intralogistics in Britain. This year it was the first time for the GEBHARDT Group as an exhibitor and it was extremely successful.

Together with its British subsidiary European Conveyor Systems Ltd, Nottingham, the GEBHARDT Group mainly focused on decentralized conveyor technology on its 90 sqm large booth. This new modular conveyor technology, System 600, is based on the plug and play principle, with further advantages such as short delivery times, energy efficient operation and straightforward commissioning. In addition to this world novelty, the two StoreBiter types OLS (One Level Shuttle) and MLS (Multi Level Shuttle) from the GEBHARDT Warehouse-technology program 700 were presented to the international audience.

“During the duration of the four days we could see how our System 600 had generated the interest of the visitors. Also, our British colleagues from ECS are convinced that the new decentralized conveyor technology appeals to the prospective customers. Through this event new contacts were established and current clientele strengthened, thus we could intensify and expand our presence in the British area”, quoted Volker Nicolai, Head of International Sales.
