GEBHARDT Intralogistics UK to Showcase Pallet Shuttle Technology at IMHX 2025

Making a long-awaited comeback, GEBHARDT will be returning to IMHX, the UK’s largest event for logistics and supply chain professionals. To engage attendees, GEBHARDT Intralogistics UK will showcase their new warehouse robotics solution - the GEBHARDT Omnipallet®.

Nottingham, July 2025 - When it comes to staying ahead of industry trends, IMHX is a must for supply chain professionals. With the industry feeling the squeeze of labour shortages and rising material costs, many professionals are keen to explore what automation has to offer.

At stand E150, visitors can explore GEBHARDT’s latest innovations up close. Catering to the diversity of the crowd, GEBHARDT will be exhibiting intralogistics tech suitable for both manufacturers and distributors. While GEBHARDT is no stranger to working on large-scale projects, they’re also keen to entice automation newcomers.

The star of the GEBHARDT stand will be the robot and shuttle-based GEBHARDT Omnipallet®. Building on the global success of the StoreBiter range, the GEBHARDT Omnipallet® brings proven shuttle technology into the realm of pallet transport.

Ideal for automating finished goods and spare parts, the GEBHARDT Omnipallet® offers exceptional operational flexibility. Its modular design makes the system highly adaptable. Additional pallet shuttles can be easily added to the system, allowing it to scale alongside changing warehouse demands.

The GEBHARDT Omnipallet®’s is capable of handling goods storage and retrieval across multiple racking aisles. The shuttles of the device can also move bi-directionally to help minimise travel time between storage areas and ground level.

Beyond streamlining operations, solutions like the GEBHARDT Omnipallet® can improve storage density – a common problem in growing warehouses. By utilising vertical space and compact racking, the solution can help manufacturers overcome space constraints. By unlocking this hidden space, manufacturers can improve storage capacity and throughput without the need for costly warehouse expansions.

Following the acquisition of Lippert GmbH & Co. KG, GEBHARDT Intralogistics UK will also be showcasing several new sortation systems. Sorters are gaining popularity across the UK, but high costs have been a major barrier to wider adoption. GEBHARDT’s latest range aims to bridge this gap with more affordable solutions. Technologies like the ROTA-Sorter® offer lower throughput than alternatives, such as cross-belt sorters, but come at a more entry-level cost.

‘The key to creating a great system – one that brings value immediately and for years to come – is to build the solution around the unique needs of the customer,’ says Chris Gibbons, Director of Sales. ‘The solution also needs to be flexible so that it can be configured to future requirements.’

Supply chain professionals, integrators, and consultants can discover GEBHARDT’s full range of solutions and services at IMHX, 9th – 11th September 2025, NEC Birmingham.
