GEBHARDT Fördertechnik GmbH installed the CRM solution "SAP Cloud for Customer" across all of their branches around the world within just six weeks. With the help of the cloud-based system for professional customer management in sales and service, customer satisfaction and internal process efficiency are set to be increased even further. For outstanding project management and the resulting quick implementation of the solution, GEBHARDT now received the SAP golden Quality Award for the category of Innovation by SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG. The awards ceremony took place in the SAP Arena in Mannheim on the 27th of November, 2015.
To help customers better and to support employees optimally in their daily sales work, the GEBHARDT Group, one of the leading providers of material flow and internal logistics systems, has introduced the CRM system "SAP Cloud for Customer". GEBHARDT already replaced its old ERP system in 2006, using SAP as the new standard. To design the sales and service activities across all corporate sites in Germany, England and the USA with a modern, mobile system more transparently and efficiently, GEBHARDT chose an on-demand solution that can be web-based operated from any browser-capable end device. All customer-relevant data can be called on globally - stationary or mobile - live from the CRM system, and new information can be entered with ease in real time. "The system permits employees to take a 360° view of their customers and supports them in seamless documentation of sales work flows and tasks. With the “SAP Cloud for Customer”, we profit from a standard solution without great customizing, always kept up to date by regular automatic updates," explained IT project manager Stephan Riemensperger covering the system's benefits. The professional and agile project management and extremely short time to implementation of six instead of the previously planned eight weeks was profound for SAP in implementation and execution of the project. Clearly specified interim targets (short sprints) and a good preparation of the productive start with training and test phases contributed to this, as well as, a strong partnership and high degree of communication throughout the project with experienced SAP-partner Sybit GmbH.

SAP invited all winners to the festive awarding ceremony in the SAP Arena in Mannheim on November 27th. The silver award in the category, went to the Stadtentwässerungsbetriebe Köln, bronze went to Lunabe AG. As the winner of gold from SAP Deutschland, GEBHARDT is automatically nominated for the regional SAP Quality Awards (Europe, Middle East and Africa, Community of Independent States CIS). The Winner will be chosen in January 2016.
